SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Altera Digital Health, a Harris Computer Company, is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a remote Canadian role. As a key member of our organization, you will ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue, contribute to process improvements, and support ongoing financial integration.

Altera provides digital software solutions and support to large hospitals and physicians across various geographies. Our backend, mission-critical software helps our customers deliver the best healthcare to patients worldwide.

Since being acquired by Harris Computer in May 2022, Altera has expanded its operations across multiple legal entities and geographies, with a diverse international finance team of 100 members in countries including India, Canada, the USA, Israel, and Australia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Revenue Process Management: Support end-to-end revenue recognition, including analysis and journal entries.
2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, reconciliations, variance analyses, and assist with external audits.
3. Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline revenue accounting processes.
4. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support revenue-related initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience
• CPA preferred
• 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 15
• Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

LOCATION AND TRAVEL

This is a remote role with minimal travel requirements.
