Base pay range

CA$45.00/hr - CA$45.00/hr

What You Will Do

• Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.
• Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including wet steel, copper, CPVC, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and manuals.
• Provide effective customer service by communicating with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete Service Acknowledgements electronically with proper coding and customer signatures.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Sprinkler Fitter Red Seal Certification.
• Member of Local 170 or eligible for union enrollment as a journeyperson.
• BACKFLOW Certification.
• 5+ years of experience in Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.
• Experience reading blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform physical labor, including lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work in challenging positions, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and on-call rotations.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks.
