Johnson Controls seeks a versatile Sprinkler Service Sales Representative to expand Fire Sprinkler service opportunities across an assigned territory and account base. You will connect customers with service solutions that support safety, reliability, and long‑term system performance.

This role focuses on promoting and selling service offerings, establishing contact with prospects, qualifying buyers, and driving sales results for sprinkler repairs, moves, adds, and changes.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
• Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and organize work effectively.
• Proficient in personal computers, including Windows Office.
• Ability and willingness to work as a teammate and collaborate well with others.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints, understanding NFPA 13 standards, and working with local codes.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Fire Sprinkler service offerings within assigned territory and accounts.
• Establish contact with prospects, qualify potential buyers, and follow up on leads using outlined marketing strategies.
• Work with the existing service customer base to identify needs for moves, adds, and changes to sprinkler systems.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy that supports understanding of company service offerings.
• Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
• Read blueprints and apply current NFPA 13 standards and local codes when discussing service opportunities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, general contractors, and end users.
• Estimate small projects, including day‑works as required.
• Develop new business relationships and help grow the Sprinkler Service business.
