Reporting to the Sport Development Coordinator, this position will assist in ensuring all sport development initiatives within the community run effectively and efficiently while providing ample opportunity for participation by the community. This may include administration of athlete/coach/officials development, sport tourism, physical literacy and community outreach programs while ensuring staff are well supervised, trained and well managed. This position will mentor, support, motivate and provide guidance on performance management of all sport develop ment staff and volunteers while maintaining positive relationships with fellow area staff, residents, community sport groups and clients. The Sport Development Supervisor will be a front line resource in sport development and community sport engagement.
