JOB SUMMARY
The Speech-Language Pathologist, under the supervision of the Manager of Rehabilitation or Clinical Manager at the branch level, is responsible for conducting assessments, providing treatment, education, and managing clients requiring Speech and Language Pathology interventions, in accordance with professional standards.

Job Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree or recognized equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology. Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
Experience: Preferably three years providing Speech-Language Pathology services. Experience with in-home assessments and treatments; knowledge of auto insurance and legal systems is an asset, especially for medical/legal report writing.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Enjoy working with clients of all ages in various treatment settings. Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and decision-making skills. Ability to handle difficult situations objectively and consistently. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Basic computer skills and proficiency with secure email. Commitment to ongoing learning. Valid driver’s license.
Standards of Performance
The Speech-Language Pathologist must demonstrate ongoing competency in fulfilling all duties and responsibilities, adapting to regulatory changes and achieving specific goals and objectives.
