About Us

We are one of BC’s largest and longest-serving child development charities founded in 1967 and we assist over 1,000 children annually through our services.

At the CDC, we believe that no person is an island — collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our Centre is home to a dynamic team of therapists who thrive in an environment grounded in open communication, shared knowledge, and mutual respect.

We are proud to be an agile workplace that values flexibility, work-life balance, and individual diversity. Our Centre likes to prioritize in-person service with a mix of remote work; we want our team members to work in the way that suits them and their families best.

Our culture is vibrant and inclusive — from summer BBQs and Zumba classes to birthday celebrations, we embrace connection and fun. We also encourage comfortable dress, flexible hours, and a genuine sense of belonging.

At CDC, transparency and trust are cornerstones of our team’s success. When our employees feel valued and heard, they respond with engagement, innovation, and excellence in client care.
