Qualifications

• Master's graduate of a Speech-Language Pathology degree program from a recognized university.
• Registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
• Proficiency with word processing and software packages for language development and AAC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to establish qualifications for services and guide intervention.
• Manage a caseload with a diverse and complex pediatric population and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and monitor integrated, child-centred plans.
• Provide coaching and guidance to teachers and support staff to support the effective implementation of speech and language goals within the classroom environment.
• Gather, interpret, and use data to inform treatment planning and monitor progress.
• Engage parents in planning, decision-making, and program implementation.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment by building strong relationships with team members and supporting a culture of teamwork and respect.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for working with young children to join our growing team as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist . The hours of work are 8 AM – 4 PM (Monday to Friday).

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Successful practicum experience with good references is an asset.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates.
• Demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Must be willing to travel within Calgary areas.
