This position is responsible for providing quality Speech and Language Pathology services under supervision, offering comprehensive evaluation and treatment for cognitive, communication, and swallowing issues across various patient groups, including pediatric to geriatric patients.
The incumbent provides direct patient care, contributes to interdisciplinary team discussions, and participates in discharge planning. Flexibility to work across different facility types is required. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, with potential involvement in program development and outcome measurement. Per diem staff must work at least one major and one minor holiday annually, with specific holidays outlined.
