Job summary

Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools seeks a Speech Language Assistant to provide targeted speech-language support under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.

The candidate will join a trans-disciplinary team, delivering services to students at Early Learning, Elementary, and Junior High levels. The position is temporary, full-time (35 hours/week) with possible extension and travel to other Morinville sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Speech-Language Assistant Program.
• Experience working with children with speech-language challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities to engage children.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language support under the direction of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Work as part of a trans-disciplinary team to support children with speech-language needs.
• Assist in implementing program plans and collecting progress data.
