As a Specialized Laborer in the Civil and Infrastructure team at Pomerleau Construction, you will collaborate closely with all workers on large-scale building and infrastructure projects ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion. Your role will include ensuring coordination and execution of work in the civil engineering & infrastructure sector, as well as commercial, institutional, industrial, heavy civil engineering, and urban earthworks.

What You Will Do

• Assist specialized crews and support the completion of site work.
• Supply materials to the job site.
• Perform grading and install or assist with the installation of sewer and water‑main pipes.
• Operate and properly use the tools and equipment provided.
• Master the use of a hand truck, shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, screwdrivers, drills, jackhammers, compactor, and other equipment.
• With appropriate training and a valid card, use handling and motorized equipment such as forklifts and aerial work platforms.
• Adhere to safety procedures to ensure compliance with company and construction industry standards.
• Work as part of a team, maintaining a pleasant and trusting work environment, and communicate effectively with colleagues and other trades on site.
• Care for and maintain small tools and site equipment.
• Carry out all other related operational tasks.
