Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead Civil & Infrastructure projects within the Urban Earthworks unit. Manage large-scale projects, up to and beyond $200 million, coordinating engineers, contractors and clients to ensure flawless execution.

You will mentor teams, oversee schedules and budgets, and champion health and safety while delivering high-quality outcomes across Canada. This role offers professional coaching and cross-functional support to focus on project

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10+ years’ experience in Project Management in the construction industry.
• University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering or a combination of education and industry experience.
• Master the French language at a professional level.
• Strong knowledge of construction and project methodologies, financial management, as well as building codes and legislation.
• Champion for quality and health and safety best practices.
• Experience working with scheduling software; Primavera P6 considered a strong asset.

As an experienced Senior Project Manager in the Civil & Infrastructure team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a key role at the heart of the Urban Earthworks business unit. Leading large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects – which can exceed $200 million – you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engineers, contractors and customers to ensure flawless execution of all projects. You’ll benefit from professional coaching and specialized services provided by our support departments, such as environment, quality and insurance, allowing you to focus on what’s important: project management.

What You Will Do

• Grow and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients to achieve the project goals and vision.
• Support your project management teams to develop and drive the construction schedule ensuring that completion dates and milestones are met.
• Apply your financial management experience to plan, manage and respect project budgets, costs and associated purchasing.
• Share your knowledge and be a role model through mentorship opportunities with project team members.
• Be an expert in risk management to ensure any associated project risk is minimized.
• Take pride in compiling and completing company‑wide project reports.
• Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environmental Protection on the project.

Qualifications
