Job summary

Skyline is seeking a dedicated Property Management Assistant in Belleville, Ontario, to support day-to-day building operations, tenant relations, and leasing activities. The role emphasizes customer service, organization, and teamwork in a residential setting.

You will assist with leasing inquiries, unit showings, move-in/out inspections, and records maintenance, while ensuring safety and compliance. A provided apartment with rent included and employer-paid benefits are included.

Qualifications

  • Experience in residential property management or related field is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Hands-on, team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day building operations and maintenance tasks.
  • Respond to tenant questions, concerns, and service requests in a timely, professional manner.
  • Assist with leasing activities: respond to inquiries, show units, provide rental information.
  • Maintain records: logbooks, applications, leases, inspections, emails and filings.
  • Assist with apartment turnover: move-in/move-out inspections, cleaning, minor repairs.
  • Support exterior upkeep: garbage removal, groundskeeping, seasonal maintenance.

Location: Belleville, Ontario, Canada

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Rotating Schedule, Weekends + On-Call Availability required

Compensation Includes: $47,000 annually, inclusive of rent for provided apartment. Utilities & Parking Included Employer Paid Health & Dental Benefits

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assist with day-to-day building operations, including cleaning common areas, completing assigned general maintenance tasks, and helping keep the property safe, clean, and welcoming.
  • Support resident satisfaction by responding to tenant questions, concerns, and service requests with professionalism, timeliness, and care.
  • Assist with leasing activities by responding to rental inquiries, welcoming prospective residents, conducting unit showings, and providing information on available rental opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete administrative duties such as logbooks, applications, leases, inspections, emails, filing, rent-related documentation, and regulatory compliance records as required.
  • Help with apartment turnover by supporting move-in and move-out inspections, suite cleaning, and minor repairs or painting as required.
  • Assist with exterior property upkeep, including garbage removal, groundskeeping, flower beds, snow clearing, salting, and seasonal maintenance tasks.

  • Previous experience in residential property management, customer service, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field is considered an asset.
