Qualifications

Why join our Quality team in Mirabel?

Under the supervision of the quality manager, you will investigate product and process validity, address non-conformities related to assembly and supplier defects, and ensure product integrity through visual inspections and collaboration with engineering, production, after-sales, partners, and suppliers. You will promote a quality-focused culture by implementing projects and initiatives that emphasize quality at all levels.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours, exclusively on-site in Mirabel.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Pratt & Whitney US to investigate quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions, and control measures.
  • Use continuous improvement tools (DAISE, RCCA, 8D) to document and coordinate investigations during assembly.
  • Monitor quality KPIs, publish monthly reports, and implement actions to reduce non-quality costs.
  • Manage supplier escapes and assembly line issues with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Lead tactical quality clinics with assemblers and support teams.
  • Ensure customer perspectives are considered during disposition of non-conforming materials.
  • Review procedures to ensure understanding and compliance across teams.
Qualifications for Success
  • DEC or DEP in aeronautics with at least 4 years of experience, or
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Good knowledge of PW800, PW1500, and PW1900 engine models.
  • Technical expertise in manufacturing aeronautical parts.
  • Ability to read plans and geometric tolerances.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with problem-solving processes (RCCA, DAISE, 8D).
  • Experience in quality control and measurement instruments.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Teamwork aptitude and multitasking ability.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.

This role requires working in a French-speaking environment with functional English skills for technical reading and communication.
