What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with the setup and configuration of livestock monitoring systems
- Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting support
- Conduct remote training and system operation reviews
- Maintain technology products related to livestock, including software updates
- Document software, hardware, and warranty-related issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or DEC (2-year college degree) with a focus on livestock or technical fields
- Proficiency in French (written and spoken) if located in Quebec; English is required in other Canadian provinces
- Valid motor vehicle driver’s license without restrictions
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and Microsoft Office skills
- Willingness to travel 50-60% within the region, including occasional travel to the U.S.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with herd management software (DC305, PC Dart, Bovisync, etc.)
- Background in livestock management or experience on a farm
