Position: Collections Specialist

Location: Saint-Laurent – 1 day remote

Salary: $62K to $68K per year (based on experience) + benefits!

Our well-established client is seeking a Collections Specialist to join their team in Saint-Laurent. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in B2B collections who enjoys building relationships and ensuring healthy cash flow. The company offers a competitive salary based on experience flexible work hours, a comprehensive benefits package, and a hybrid work schedule with one day remote.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining healthy cash flow by ensuring timely collections, with a strong focus on high-volume B2B accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proactively manage a portfolio of B2B accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.

- Contact clients via phone and email to address overdue accounts and resolve payment delays.

- Negotiate payment plans and solutions while maintaining strong client relationships.

- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams.

- Maintain detailed records of collection activities and client interactions.

- Prepare regular reports on account statuses and collection efforts for management review.

- Stay up to date with relevant regulations and company policies to ensure compliance in all activities.

Qualifications:

- At least 3 years of experience in credit and collections, accounts receivable, or a related field.

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding collection targets.
