Job summary

Definity seeks a UI/UX Designer to join Sonnet’s Customer Experience team. You’ll design mobile-first experiences for sonnet.ca and email, collaborate with product owners and developers, and craft accessible landing pages and A/B tests.

Qualifications

The Opportunity

As part of Sonnet’s Customer Experience team, you will design and optimize mobile-first digital experiences across sonnet.ca and email channels. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you’ll support website enhancements, A/B testing, landing page creation, and accessibility-focused solutions that improve the customer experience and support business goals.

What to Expect
  • As a key part of Sonnet’s Customer Experience team, you’ll be an active contributor in the creation of innovative, mobile-first designs for sonnet.ca and email marketing,collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver on business objectives
  • You’ll identify design solutions and opportunities for enhancements and A/B testing, bringing them to your agile team and Product Owner
  • You’ll write development stories in Jira, articulating design and accessibility requirements, and will work closely with developers as your enhancements are being developed, understanding technical requirements and limitations
  • You’ll work in Sonnet’s CMS, building landing pages in partnership with your content counterparts
  • You’ll also support our Manager, Design on both sonnet.ca design requests, and internal requests, as required
What you Bring
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant working experience in UI/UX Design
  • Proficiency in a Mac environment with in-depth knowledge of web-design and prototyping software applications, including Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Design System Manager
  • Exceptional ability to communicate design decisions to internal stakeholders and executives
  • Experience working in a CMS to build pages
  • You’re flexible and thrive in an agile, start-up, team environment
  • Proficient in identifying and applying web-based trends and technologies
  • You’re exceptionally organized (Jira experience is an asset), resourceful, fast, and have impeccable attention to detail
  • You’re effective and calm when working under pressure
  • You’re always open to learning and expanding
Salary Range

$59,300 - $109,200

High degree ofproficiencywith Englishrequiredto service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
