Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Talent Acquisition preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Research and manage proactive recruiting resources including online platforms, campus offices, and search firms.
  • Represent the company at recruiting events and during candidate interactions throughout the selection process.
  • Screen candidates and administer selection assessments to evaluate potential for success.
  • Maintain relationships with hiring managers by assessing staffing needs and providing feedback.
  • Provide timely reporting to leadership on staffing progress and metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and procedures throughout staffing and selection.
  • Assist the Manager, Talent Management with special projects, start-ups, surveys, and site visits.

General Summary

The Specialist, Talent Acquisition is responsible for strategic sourcing and selection initiatives to attract qualified talent aligned with company goals. This role partners with stakeholders across geographies and business units to deliver scalable recruitment solutions and ensure compliance with company standards.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute recruitment strategies to maintain a pipeline of qualified professional, technical, and management candidates.
  • Deliver enterprise-wide solutions that align with company objectives and adhere to established standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders across locations and functions to create cohesive, repeatable talent acquisition processes.
  • Support the design and administration of evaluation processes to ensure understanding of behaviors, policies, and practices.
  • Research and manage proactive and passive recruiting resources including online platforms, campus offices, trade associations, and search firms.
  • Represent the company at recruiting events, through social media, and during candidate interactions throughout the selection process.
  • Screen candidates and administer selection assessments to evaluate potential for success.
  • Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers by assessing staffing needs, providing feedback, and educating on hiring tools and techniques.
  • Provide timely reporting to leadership on staffing progress and metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and procedures throughout the staffing and selection process.
  • Assist the Manager, Talent Management with special projects, start-ups, surveys, and site visits.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED with 8+ years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in a Talent Acquisition role preferred.
Skills and Competencies
  • Familiarity with web-based applicant tracking systems; Taleo experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
