Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Logistics Support Analyst in Canada to provide analysis and support of the transportation process, identify cost-efficient improvements, and assist with planning for peak-period outbound volumes; this role also supports month-end execution.

You will present data and solutions to customers, both internal and external, and collaborate with the Operations Department to ensure timely, cost-effective transportation. Strong analytical skills and MS Excel/Access knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in electrical or related field is a plus.
  • Experience in the Logistics field with a working knowledge in shipment planning, transportation and customer service.
  • Intermediate level experience with MS Excel and MS Access an asset
  • Ability to create custom reports using various MS Office programs for presentation to the client and Operations Management
  • Some knowledge in the transportation industry
  • Knowledge of understanding distribution and traffic principles
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to build and maintain professional co-operative working relationships with external distribution suppliers
  • Ability to formulate data, analyze information, and make sound logical decisions
  • Ability to handle high volumes of work as well as ability to meet required deadlines

Responsibilities
