Job summary

Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking a Specialist, Paid Social to support CTDi, the in‑house digital media agency. You will manage the day‑to‑day trafficking, reporting and analytics for paid social campaigns across multiple platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal and external partners, ongoing optimization, and delivering actionable insights to improve performance and pacing.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years hands-on experience with social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Dynamic Ads and Product Catalog requirements.
  • Understanding of data management platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, notably Excel.
  • Problem solver with the ability to analyze and prioritize to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day implementation of paid social campaigns across platforms: setup, monitoring, optimization.
  • Facilitate regular check-ins with internal/external partners to guide performance and pacing.
  • Assist in troubleshooting delivery and pacing issues; support team in addressing issues.
  • Provide recommendations on tactics, audiences, placements, and pacing.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

Reporting to the Manager, Paid Social, the Specialist, Paid Social will provide day‑to‑day technical and analytical support with a key focus on campaign trafficking, reporting, analytics and coordinating other digital campaign‑specific tasksfor Canadian Tire’s In‑House Digital Media agency (CTDi).

  • Manage the day‑to‑day implementation of paid social media campaigns across multiple social media buying platforms including set‑up,monitoringand optimization
  • Facilitate andmaintainregular check‑ins with internal and external partners to guide and oversee performance,pacingand general campaign management
  • Assistin troubleshooting campaign delivery and pacing issues; support the team in addressing immediate issues
  • Provide recommendations on tactics, audiences,placementsand pacing for social marketing campaigns
  • Responsibility for weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc reporting and analysis asrequired

Our typical hiring range is between$50,000 - $65,000per annum.

Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role‑specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
