Job summary

Softchoice, a World Wide Technology company, is seeking a Specialist, Integrations & Catalog Management to lead EDI and API integration efforts across vendor and internal teams in a hybrid Toronto setting. You’ll partner with Finance, Master Data, and Strategic Sourcing to streamline data flows and improve SAP and MuleSoft driven processes.

The role requires 5+ years in business operations, data analysis experience, and familiarity with SAP, MuleSoft, or Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in a business/operations environment.
• Experience with data analysis is preferred.
• Experience with data analysis tools (SQL, SSRS) or demonstrated ability to learn tools quickly.
• Experience with SAP, MuleSoft or Salesforce would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive EDI/API integration engagements with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Finance, Master Data, and other teams to improve automation/integration and data accuracy.
• Onboard new suppliers onto E2E integrations and support API updates.
• Lead monthly reviews with Master Data and Strategic Sourcing teams and drive item catalog alignment.
• Identify items aligning with go-to-market strategy and coordinate with vendors to ensure correct pricing data.

The impact you will have:

The Specialist, Integrations & Catalog Management will help define processes and manage governance of our overall Distribution and Vendor integration strategy. This role will work in a proactive nature with key stakeholders to identify opportunities and challenges that may have both upstream and downstream impacts on customers and order fulfillment. The Specialist will also be responsible for investigating issues, determining the urgency, and problem solving solutions that creates value for our customer and business requirements.

This role is hybrid with the expectation of working in the Toronto office 2-4 times per month.

What you’ll do:

EDI/API Integration responsibilities

• Own and drive engagement with EDI internal stakeholders to resolve/improve/enhance EDI for customer operations teams & other stakeholders. Working with suppliers such as Dell, Arrow, D&H, Douglas Stewart, Climb, Ingram, TD Synnex, and internal stakeholders such as COA, Finance, Master Data, etc.
• Set up, facilitate, and engage in meetings with supplier IT & Business teams and collaborate with stakeholders to align root issues and define next steps.
• Point of contact for SAP & MuleSoft for supplier EDI related issues which can involve escalations.
• Working towards improving e2e automation overall and regularly analyze EDI metrics to understand gaps that could require actions to resolve.
• Monitoring of Order breakdowns to uncover issues quickly. Communicate to impacted areas of the business when order failure issues occur.
• Investigating other APIs suppliers offer and understand feasibility to bring into system and potential business value (special costs, quotes, orders) with the help of MuleSoft to test data samples.
• Work with Distribution partners to ensure ETS data is accurate.
• Increase the number of integrations with Direct Vendors to increase E2E automation and manual processes.
• Use AI to speed up manual processes and provide increased inteligence to decisions.
• Work with Distribution partners and internal IT to take advantage of new MCP functionality being offered

Cross Departmental Integration Support

• Collaborate with Finance to improve automation/integration for invoicing. This could include resolving issues related to: Freight charges, Supplier SKU costs misalignment, Overage billing, Currency mismatches
• SAP issue investigations: Broken Auto GR processes, supplier data migrations, SAP iDOC issues
• Onboarding new suppliers onto E2E integrations (Climb 1000 USD initiatives)
• Leading updates to PNA API (endpoint upgrades, warehouse changes)
• Align with Strategic Sourcing Program Managers and Business Development to ensure Item/SKU catalogs are meeting business requirements and data submissions are compliant with vendor requirements.
• Build knowledge and document specific vendor and category information including price list management, key attributes, item updates, and maintenance processes
• Monthly review of supplier pricelist files to map their new listings to SAP system. Analyzing the new listings and ensuring the standard manufacturer pricings are mapped in our system while excluding duplicates and nonstandard prices.
• Leading monthly check-ins with Master Data & Strategic Sourcing team
• Identify items that reflect our go-to-market strategy and enable their proactive creation in SAP by:
• Collaborating with our Vendor Sales Specialists and category leaders
• Collaborating with manufacturers and suppliers
• Collaborating with Master Data to reduce reactive item creations

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related fields
• Minimum 5 years working experience in a business/operations environment.
• Experience working with data/data analysis/data management is preferred.
• Experience with data analysis tools preferred (SQL query programming, SSRS, etc.) or demonstrated ability to learn tools quickly.
• Experience with SAP, MuleSoft or Salesforce would be preferred
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines

Compensation:

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Toronto is $62,000 to $78,000 annually + 8% as target incentives.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
