The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Specialist, Insurance and Risk Management to join our Risk Management team in Toronto.
This is a permanent hybrid position.
As a Specialist, Insurance and Risk Management, you will support the development and implementation of comprehensive insurance strategies (e.g., property, liability, environmental, business interruption, marine cargo) to effectively cover the extensive risk profile of all VBML’s operations, with a focus on Canada. Assist in structuring and managing operational risk engineering programs, collaborating with site teams to assess operational hazards and implement preventative measures. Your experience and skill will allow you to build and maintain strategic relationships with insurance brokers, underwriters, and third-party service providers to negotiate optimal terms and ensure efficient claim handling.
