Our team of experts in Supply Chain and Logistics speaks your language and understands your world.

We are currently seeking a US Customs Specialist for a client in the retail industry based in Ville Saint-Laurent.

If you have experience with US customs regulations, this position is for you!

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with customs activities in Canada and the US, acting as a resource for customs compliance, and supporting the teams.

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring import and export operations comply with internal processes and US/Canadian regulations.
  2. Managing projects, analyzing new products, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  3. Creating reports, updating, and optimizing compliance procedures.
  4. Serving as a customs compliance resource and addressing internal and external inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Degree in logistics or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken.
  • CSS certification.
  • Thorough knowledge of Canadian and US customs regulations.

Additional qualities include the ability to manage multiple projects, initiative, organization, adaptability, teamwork, efficiency, analytical skills, and good communication skills.
