Qualifications

• Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in assistance to patients or residents in health care establishments.
• One year of pertinent experience in areas requiring self-discipline, psychology, and human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist handicapped students in participating in school activities and moving between locations.
• Ensure student well-being, hygiene and safety as per individualized education plan.
• Supervise students during breaks and meals and assist with personal care when needed.
• Assist teachers and staff in conveying basic concepts and handling learning materials for activities.
• Record observations and communicate needs to teachers and parents as required.
