Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in assistance to patients or residents in health care establishments.
• Secondary V School Diploma or equivalent recognized by authorities.
• Minimum of 1 year of pertinent experience in areas requiring self-discipline, psychology concepts and human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist handicapped students in participating in school activities.
• Move students between locations and guide wheelchairs.
• Support personal hygiene, meals, dressing, and undressing.
• Ensure safety during activities, transport, and restroom use.
• Observe and report student needs and behaviors to staff.
