Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in special care counseling or related field.
• Bilingual in English and French is required.
• Experience with students with special needs and IEPs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide educational support and supervision of activities to develop social, cognitive, psycho-motor, and communication skills.
• Assist teachers and coordinate with support staff to implement programs.
• Support students during routines, routines, excursions and transport, as needed.
• Record observations and reports on student progress and needs.
