THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener is seeking a part-time bartender to support special events, rentals, and programming. You will set up and tear down, assist with event operations, clean, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for visitors while complying with liquor laws.
Shifts are Thursday–Saturday, typically 3pm–3am, with up to 20 hours weekly. Applicants must hold Smart Serve, have 1+ year bartending experience, and be comfortable with cash handling and POS systems.
This position supports Special Events and Rentals, and Programming by providing high quality bar service. Staff will also be expected to facilitate set-up and tear-down, cleaning, facilitating an engaging and safe environment for visitors to explore THEMUSEUM, and other duties that are appropriate.
Part time occasional. Events are varying, often occurring on Thursday – Saturday. Shift times tend to range from 3pm – 3am, with occasional full day rentals occurring in the summer and winter holiday months.
Approx. 0-20 hours a week.
Wage: $23/per hour
Must hold a Smart Serve designation.
Must have a minimum of 1 year bartending experience.
