Job summary

Qualifications

• Two-year post-secondary certificate or diploma in the social services field.
• Experience with diverse student exceptionalities including medically complex, autism, developmental and physical disabilities.
• Knowledge of ABA, Behaviour Management Systems, CPS (Collaborative Proactive Solutions) and augmentative communication.

Responsibilities

• Work with students with autism, behavioural exceptionalities, and disabilities.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, central behavioural support, and therapists to implement goals.
• Deliver therapy goals, sensory breaks, toileting support, communication needs, and outings.
• Support student transitions and implement programming in consultation with staff.
