Job summary

Kepler Communications is seeking a Manager, Hardware Test Engineering to lead the hardware test function for next-generation space hardware. You will supervise a team across electronics, mechanical, and test automation, ensuring evidence-driven validation from prototype to production.

The role emphasizes scalable test processes, automation, data systems, and collaboration with IPTs and program teams to meet reliability, schedule, and budget goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree as listed in qualifications.
• Experience leading hardware test teams and programs.
• Ability to guide cross-functional design-for-test decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a hardware test engineering team delivering subsystems, infrastructure, and evidence packages.
• Oversee prototype bring-up, validation, qualification, and production test strategies.
• Coach engineers, guide decisions, and mitigate execution risks.
• Build cross-functional alignment with systems, electrical, RF, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
• Contribute to architecture reviews with design-for-test input.
