Job summary

Southlake Health is seeking a Sourcing and Contracts Operation Specialist to provide purchasing and coordination support for contracts and capital purchases, and to assist end-user requisitioning and supply chain processes.

The role includes supporting RFQ/RFI/RFP initiatives and working with the Manager of Materials Management. A post-secondary education and purchasing certifications are required, with 2–3 years in healthcare procurement preferred.

• Post-secondary education in business or relevant field.
• CPP, CSMP, or OIPMAC-Purchasing certification or equivalent.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a Healthcare purchasing and strategic sourcing environment.
• Proficient Microsoft applications experience.
• Project management and conflict resolution training.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
• Knowledge of McKesson Pathways Material Management is an asset.

About the role

The role of Sourcing and Contracts Operation Specialist is responsible for providing purchasing and coordination support to contracts, Capital purchases, manage and support end users in the use of requisitioning and supply chain processes. This role also entails supporting Shared Service Organization reconciliations, administrative duties as required and providing Request for Proposal support and to the Manager of Materials Management which may include leading RFQ, RFI and RFP initiatives.
