Intelcom | Dragonfly is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee sorting, loading, and freight movement in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise package handlers, enforce safety protocols, and ensure accurate inventory handling across inbound and outbound processes.

The role emphasizes team mentorship, performance evaluation, and a focus on efficiency and cost control within a Canadian warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

Safety and Compliance: Ensure health & safety protocols and hazard-free environment; conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.
Operations management: Supervise sorting, scanning, processing packages, and inventory management; oversee shipping, receiving, and dispatching.
Unloading and Loading: Assign labor; unload pallets; assist with sorting.
Inbound and outbound freight movement management: Coordinate with optimization team daily before start of operations.
Day-to-Day Monitoring: Track line haul operations, communicate with carriers, monitor FMC for Amazon freight.
Team leadership: Mentor and train warehouse staff; schedule shifts and evaluate performance.
Quality control: Perform quality checks on sorted freight and inbound/outbound processes.
Administration and reporting: Data entry; complete reports; manage driver credentials and docking; cost control.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain cleanliness and sorting layout; ensure orderliness.
