Purolator is seeking a Sorter/Truck Parker to join its Richmond, BC team. This role unloads freight from curbside trucks onto conveyors, loads trucks, and coordinates curbside deliveries, with Saturday 2pm–6pm and Sunday–Wednesday 5pm–9pm shifts, totaling about 20 hours per week.

The position is permanent, offers competitive pay and benefits, training for required certifications, and opportunities for career growth within Purolator and the ManpowerGroup network.

Formación

• Valid Class 5 BC driver's license.
• No more than four points on license; abstract required.
• Must successfully pass Defensive Driving course.

Responsabilidades

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks.
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out.
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer.
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles.
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items.
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify issues.
• Park Purolator vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our client, Purolator, is seeking a Sorter/Truck Parker to join their team

Job Title: Sorter/Truck Parker
Location: Richmond, BC
Shift: 20hours/week - Saturday 2pm to 6pm, Sunday to Wednesday 5pm to 9pm
Pay Rate: $23.63/hour

What’s the Job?

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
• Parking of Purolator Vehicles
• Other duties as assigned

What’s Needed?

• Must have a valid Class 5 B.C. license
• Must have no more than four (4) points on a valid Class 5 B.C. drivers license (abstract required)
• Must successfully pass the Defensive Driving course
