Job summary

Purolator is seeking a PM Sorter for our Dieppe, NB warehouse. You will sort freight by destination, weight, and size to meet delivery schedules, performing loading and unloading steps on trucks and conveyors. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

No prior experience required; training provided. Evening shifts available, 33.5 hours weekly. We offer a safety‑focused workplace and opportunities to grow with Canada’s leading logistics provider.

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks.
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out.
• Load freight into linehaul/cube truck or trailer.
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles.
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items.
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted items.

Sunday: 5:00pm to 1:00am, Monday to Thursday: 6:00pm to 1:00am (33.5 hours/week)

Starting Pay Rate

$19.28/hour ($21.09 after 3 months)

Description

The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
