Job summary

Purolator in Fort McMurray is seeking a Part-time AM Sorter to support our depot operations. This role helps unload and sort freight, prepare shipments, and ensure accurate handoffs in a fast-paced warehouse.

Work hours are 06:00–09:00, Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week, at $28.93 per hour. Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, work with urgency, and speak English; a criminal record check may be required. Join a national company committed to safety, teamwork and community.

• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted items.

Location: Fort McMurray Depot - #1 240 MacKay Crescent

Working Hours: Part Time 15 hours per week

Monday to Friday 06:00am-09:00am

Wage: $28.93 per hour

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery

Requirements

• Proper scan and load techniques
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a time sensitive environment
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Attention to process, quality and/or operational standards
• Successfully complete a criminal record check and employment verification to qualify
• Obtain a clear Police Clearance Certificate when required
