Job summary

Purolator is seeking an AM Sorter in Kanata, Ontario (Ottawa) to join the Sorting Team. You will unload, sort, and prepare freight for delivery on an overnight shift with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Weekly pay and vacation pay are provided, with an immediate start and potential pathway to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Own vehicle and driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and sorting freight efficiently and accurately.
• Preloading up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belts.
• Scanning, cubing, and reweighting packages to ensure proper handling.
• Building positive relationships with team members including couriers, lead hands, and sorters.
• Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers, and package vehicles.

Our client, Purolator a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking an AM Sorter to join their team. As an AM Sorter, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Sorting Team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work effectively within a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: AM Sorter

Location: Kanata, Ontario (Ottawa)

Pay Range: $18 an hour

Shift:

Monday to Friday 2:30am to 8:15am

Shift type:

Overnight

What's the Job?
