Purolator is hiring for an AM Sorter at the Edmonton South Depot. The role runs part-time, 25 weekly hours with a scheduled shift from 05:00-10:00am, Monday to Friday, at a pay rate of $23.40/hour. You will sort and load freight to meet delivery schedules and support curbside operations.

Requirements include being a quick learner, reliable and punctual, able to lift up to 70 lbs, CSA approved safety footwear, and passing a criminal record check. English proficiency is essential for this position.

Location: Edmonton South Depot - 3104 97 Street

Working Hours: 25 weekly hours

Scheduled Shift: part-time 05:00-10:00am Monday to Friday

Pay rate: $23.40/hour

The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery

Requirements

• Quick learner and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Technological literacy
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
• CSA approved safety footwear
• Successfully complete a criminal record check to qualify

Experience

Specialized education is not required. No experience necessary.
