Job summary

Glass Doctor Barrie is hiring a Glass Shop Technician to join our fast-paced, safety-focused shop. You will fabricate IGUs, cut and polish glass, and prepare products for installation, working closely with the Owner and Operations Manager to meet production targets while upholding quality and safety standards.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Build insulated glass units (IGUs) according to work orders and quality standards.

About the Role

As a Glass Shop Technician, you will play a vital role in our daily operations by fabricating insulated glass units (IGUs), cutting and polishing glass, and preparing products for installation. You will work closely with the Owner and Operations Manager to ensure production targets are met while maintaining our standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Build insulated glass units (IGUs) according to work orders and quality standards
• Cut, size, and polish glass using shop tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
