Interior Health seeks an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join the Medical Imaging Department at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. The role supports a team with multiple ultrasound and echo rooms and contributes to growing ultrasound services in the region.

Shifts rotate between day and evening, and this is a relief full-time (1.0) position until the incumbent returns. IH offers competitive wages and strong benefits in a supportive work environment.

About The Job

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you would be joining a collegial and cohesive Diagnostic Imaging team. EKRH has three General Ultrasound Rooms and two Echo Rooms. Approximately 17,000 General exams are completed per year and roughly 3,000 Echo exams per year. Our community's in Creston, Fernie and Golden offer Ultrasound services and scan ~3,000 patients per year. We are seeking to expand our services to include an additional Ultrasound room at EKRH and exploring potential ultrasound in Invermere.

This is a Relief Full Time (1.0) opportunity until the return of the incumbent.

Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating day and evenings.
