Boart Longyear is seeking experienced Sonic Supervisors to join our team in the Vancouver area. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong safety mindset, a passion for Sonic drilling, and proven team leadership abilities.

We offer ongoing training and a competitive salary with bonus opportunities. Responsibilities include coaching and supervising drilling crews, coordinating work to meet plans and run rates, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and providing technical guidance

Competenze

• Extensive Sonic drilling experience at a Supervisory level.
• Proven leadership ability.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Good communication skills – written and oral.
• First Aid/CPR required.
• H2S required.
• CSO required.

Mansioni

• Provide ongoing coaching to develop your team.
• Address any performance or conduct issues as they arise in a timely and respectful manner.
• Coordinate and allocate work to meet drilling plans and run rates in the most cost-effective/efficient way while meeting safety compliance requirements, including the coordination of relief team members as required.
• Complete and approve daily rig reports to send to contracts administrators for payroll and client invoicing requirements.
• Provide technical advice to staff to effectively manage rig operations.
• Conduct daily shift meetings.
• Liaise with the Project Leader regarding the progress of the drilling program.
• Safety leadership and assisting team members with the development of thorough risk assessments and job safety analysis.
• Report all safety hazards or workplace injury/illness to the client and management immediately.
• Lead investigations of all incidents / hazard management issues that occur in the work area and on shift and ensure effective corrective actions are identified, implemented and monitored in a timely and productive manner.

Boart Longyear is currently seeking experienced Sonic Supervisors to join ourteam. The successful applicant will have an excellent attitude towards safety and possess a strong team-leadership focus. A passion for Sonic drilling and a strong work ethic is essential. Boart Longyear offers ongoing training and developmental opportunities as well as competitive salary and bonus scheme.

Hourly Wage:

$70.73-$87.50/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing coachingto develop your team.
