Role Overview
As a Solutions Advisor (SA) – Sales, you will own and expand relationships with our existing enterprise customer base, acting as the primary commercial contact. This role is focused on driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals, ensuring our customers continue to derive maximum value from DataStealth solutions. You will collaborate closely with Technical Account Managers, Solution Architects, and leadership to identify opportunities, align customer goals, and ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities

Account Growth & Expansion
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities that align with customer objectives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate contract renewals, mitigating churn risk and maintaining high retention rates.
Sales Cycle Management
  • Own the end-to-end sales process within existing accounts, from identifying new opportunities to contract closure.
  • Work closely with Technical Account Managers and Solution Architects to craft tailored proposals, based on a deep understanding of current customer implementations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and ensure mutually beneficial agreements that drive long-term customer success.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
  • Serve as a trusted advisor due to your developed knowledge of the security industry, advocating for customers while identifying new ways to add value.
  • Conduct discovery sessions, business reviews (QBRs), and advisory engagements to align our solutions with evolving customer needs.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to provide recommendations that enhance customer outcomes.
Operational Excellence & CRM Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless engagement and follow-through on sales initiatives.
  • Track pipeline performance and revenue growth metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
Market Insights & Competitive Positioning
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and market dynamics to craft compelling value propositions.
  • Work with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and go-to-market strategies.
  • Participate in industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to enhance DataStealth’s market presence.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in Professional Services Sales or Technical Solution Sales within a technology-driven environment.
  • Additional experience in B2B Enterprise Software Sales is an asset.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth within existing customer accounts.
  • Proven ability to independently develop customer SoWs, define proposal frameworks, and drive complex enterprise deals.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical solutions and articulate value in business terms.
  • Experience working with data security, compliance, cloud solutions, or SaaS is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to travel as required, up to 1 week per month.
  • Ability to work out of DataStealth’s Mississauga office, at least 3 times per week.
