Solution Focused Brief Therapy Counsellor (In Person)

Position Summary

Homewood Health is actively seeking registered mental health professionals interested in providing in-person, occasional, contract-based services for Homewood Health Stay at Work Services, Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) in Maple Ridge, BC.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide short-term, solution-oriented counseling for issues such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal skills, workplace challenges, relationship issues, stress management, and addictions.
• Work with adult individuals, couples, families, and children.
• Adhere to professional standards and best practices.
• Engage in clinical consultation with the clinical management team as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Master’s Degree in a counseling-related field or Bachelor of Social Work with appropriate registration and experience.
• Registration/clinical membership with a regulatory college or body in your province.
• At least 3 years of experience in counseling, social services, or addiction services.
• Experience in EFAP is an asset.
• Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as required by Homewood Health.
• Proficiency in providing counseling services in English or French; additional languages are a strong asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
