Job summary

Long View Systems is seeking a Dynamics 365 Business Central Solution Architect to join our Data & Dynamics team with offices in Toronto and other Canadian branches. You will design end-to-end BC solutions across finance, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, and projects, partnering with executives to deliver measurable business value.

The role combines strong accounting knowledge with ERP architecture, enabling multi-site deployments, governance, and strategic roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central consulting experience.
• Strong accounting and finance background with deep understanding of financial operations and reporting.
• Experience leading finance-driven ERP transformation initiatives.
• Experience designing integrations between Business Central and external applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution envisioning, architecture design, and discovery workshops.
• Design end-to-end Business Central solutions aligned to business requirements and industry best practices.
• Lead financial transformation discussions covering GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Budgeting, and Reporting.
• Architect solutions spanning Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Projects, and Service Operations.
• Design integrations leveraging Business Central, Power Platform, and Azure Integration Services.
• Provide leadership through governance, testing strategy, deployment planning, and hypercare activities.
• Mentor consultants and contribute to practice development initiatives.

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Dynamics 365 Business Central Solution Architect to join our Data & Dynamics team located in our Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton or Toronto branch.

Utilizing your deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central, financial management, solution architecture, and business transformation, you will work directly with executive stakeholders, finance leaders, and operational teams to design and implement innovative ERP solutions that deliver measurable business value. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting and finance knowledge with broad ERP architecture expertise covering finance, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, projects, integrations, and reporting. You will serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, business leaders, sales teams, and project teams throughout the entire solution lifecycle.

A Day in the Life:

• Support pre-sales activities including demos, workshops, estimates, architecture reviews, Statements of Work, and proposal development
• Provide leadership through solution reviews, governance, testing strategy, deployment planning, and hypercare activities
• Mentor consultants and contribute to practice development initiatives
• Stay current on Business Central, Copilot, AI, Power Platform, and Microsoft Cloud technologies

What You Bring:

• 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central consulting experience
• Strong accounting and finance background with deep understanding of financial operations and reporting
• Experience leading finance-driven ERP transformation initiatives
• Multiple full lifecycle Business Central implementations
• Extensive experience implementing:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
• CPA, CMA, CGA, ACCA, CPA-US, or equivalent professional accounting designation strongly preferred
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications
• Experience with Power BI Financial Reporting
• Experience with Azure Integration Services
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
• Consulting experience within ERP, business transformation, or finance modernization environments
• Experience supporting multi-company, multi-entity, and multi-currency organizations
