Job summary

Jule is seeking a skilled Solderer to join our Scarborough production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong electronics aptitude and be proficient in various soldering techniques to assemble and maintain electronic components for our battery energy storage and EV charging projects.

You will read schematics, use hand and power tools, and work with engineers to troubleshoot assembly issues, while upholding high quality and safety standards in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solderer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong Electronics aptitude and be proficient in various soldering techniques. This role is essential for assembling and maintaining electronic components, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. The Solderer will work closely with other team members to support the manufacturing process and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components using soldering techniques and tools.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics to accurately complete assembly tasks.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly and maintenance of products.
• Perform quality checks on assembled components to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
• Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or defects.

Skills

• Proficient in soldering techniques with a strong attention to detail.
• Mechanical knowledge, including experience with machining processes.
• Familiarity with electrical wiring and logic controllers.
• Ability to use calipers and other measuring instruments accurately.
• Experience working with hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
• Ability to produce high quality PCB boards in a fast-paced production environment.
