You follow approved manufacturing protocols, use microscopes and measuring tools to work with very small electronic components, and rotate through different areas of the assembly and packaging lines to support high daily output while maintaining strict quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble medical devices on the production line in accordance with approved manufacturing protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform PCB board soldering on very small electronic components, using microscopes and appropriate tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Inspect assembled medical devices to verify compliance with quality standards and manufacturing specifications.
  • Follow written protocols carefully, including reading and understanding SOPs and quality documentation.
  • Operate testing equipment and use measuring tools such as rulers, calipers, and magnifying glasses to verify dimensions and performance.
  • Rotate through different areas of the production line to learn all aspects of the assembly process, including both sitting and standing stations.
  • Work on the packaging line as a mandatory part of the role, preparing, labeling, and packaging medical devices according to cleanroom and quality requirements.
  • Maintain a very fast work pace to support production targets of up to approximately 1,000 products per day while sustaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Use basic computer skills to access protocols, complete training modules, and record production or quality-related information as required.
  • Lift up to 10 lbs repeatedly when working on specific sections of the production and packaging lines.
  • Apply simple math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to understand and follow protocols, counts, and production instructions.
  • Adhere strictly to cleanroom, safety, and quality standards, including dress code requirements and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Participate in QMS (Quality Management System) training on quality and production protocols via digital tools during the first week.
  • Shadow a senior assembler during initial training and transition to working independently while maintaining expected pace within approximately one week.
  • Swipe in and out of the building at the start and end of shifts, following all attendance and timekeeping procedures.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both reading and writing, to follow instructions, document work as needed, and collaborate with team members.
  • Contribute positively to a team-oriented environment, supporting colleagues and maintaining a cooperative, respectful atmosphere.
  • Maintain an extremely clean and organized work area to support sterile production conditions and prevent contamination.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 1 year of PCB board soldering experience.
  • Experience working with very small electronic parts and components, ideally in an assembly or electronics environment.
  • Ability to work comfortably with microscopes and magnifying tools for detailed assembly and inspection tasks.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination for precise handling and soldering of small parts.
  • Basic computer skills for accessing protocols, training materials, and production information.
  • Ability to read and write in English at a level sufficient to understand and follow written protocols and SOPs.
  • Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to interpret instructions and production requirements.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment with high daily output targets.
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs repeatedly while working on certain areas of the production and packaging lines.
  • Willingness to rotate into and work on the packaging line as a mandatory part of the role.
  • Ability to adhere to strict cleanroom and dress code requirements, including limitations on personal items such as jewelry, makeup, and nail polish.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous soldering experience beyond the minimum requirement is an asset.
  • Experience working under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines is an advantage.
  • Background in medical device assembly, electronic assembly, or cleanroom production is beneficial.
  • Comfort working with rulers, calipers, and other measuring tools for precise quality checks.
  • Ability to adapt to rotating tasks and cross-training across multiple stations on the production and packaging lines.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus when working with small parts and following protocols.
  • Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills to collaborate effectively in a large production department.
  • Willingness to commit to the role without seeking immediate advancement into unrelated fields.
