Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is hiring a Project Manager Solar Independent Engineering (Distributed Generation, Residential & Storage) to lead a range of solar and storage projects across North America, working with leading developers and financiers and guiding projects through the full life cycle from opportunity to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and coordinate the technical review process among internal specialists (civil and electrical engineering, energy assessment, technology, permitting) and write due diligence reports
• Perform overall project management activities and maintain excellent customer communication as the primary contact for due diligence engagements
• Conduct portions of due diligence reviews (contracts, financial models) and synthesize inputs from technical disciplines
• Discuss and resolve technical issues with project developers, lenders and investors, coordinating internal input from technicians
• Develop and win proposals for scopes of services related to due diligence work
• Coordinate or perform DNV construction monitoring and site visit activities
• Support customers through financial closings of projects
• Participate in continuous improvement, tooling development, process refinement, digitization and lessons-learned activities
• Advance team and industry thought leadership and contribute to mission and culture
