Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to plan, execute, and manage commissioning across utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, SCADA, and substation projects nationwide. You will lead the commissioning phase, coordinate with Owner's project managers, site engineers, and quality teams, and ensure a smooth transition from commissioning to closeout.

Hybrid work with onsite job-site presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience leading HV/BESS commissioning programs.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, interconnection requirements, and protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the HV or BESS commissioning scope across 2–3 concurrent projects, including deliverables and schedules.
• Develop and maintain commissioning execution plans, readiness criteria, and resource forecasts.
• Translate contract and OEM requirements into executable commissioning plans and test activities.
• Lead readiness reviews ensuring safety, quality, and turnover readiness before testing or energization.
• Coordinate field teams, OEMs, and third-party testers to execute pre-commissioning and commissioning tests.
