Job summary

Aylo in Montreal is seeking a Software Test Analyst to strengthen our QA team. You will design and execute manual test plans to ensure robust features for our online services, collaborating with developers and product teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a minimum of 4 years' experience across the Software Development Life Cycle, strong bug-tracking skills (TestRail, Jira), and basic SQL knowledge. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of test experience across the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience with bug tracking and reporting tools (TestRail, Jira).
• Closely familiar with the software development cycles and version control.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with test case creation and test plan organization.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience (preferably technical discipline).
• Experience with black box, gray box, white box.
• Light experience with QA automation (Java Testng, Jmeter, Jcraft).

The successful candidate will help the QA team deliver top quality features through extensive, fast paced testing and regression. As our Software Test Analyst you will take part and compose test plans to ensure increasingly thorough test coverage as well as manual execution of the refined plans. You will also provide the team with the latest testing status of features in development and will be collaborating closely with the extended team to deliver world-class online features and services. What you'll need to be successful:

Must Haves:

• At least 4 years of test experience throughout all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Extensive experience with bug management, tracking and reporting programs (i.e. TestRail, Jira)
• Closely familiar with the software development cycles and version control.
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Experience with test case creation and test plan organization
