Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Canada is seeking a Software Solution Architect to design secure, scalable healthcare IoT solutions. You will connect medical devices to public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP) and drive DevSecOps across the lifecycle.

You will translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready architectures, lead end-to-end solution design, and mentor teams while ensuring regulatory compliance and高 availability.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering/architecture with cloud-native and DevOps experience.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Experience leading end-to-end solution design without fully defined requirements.
• Strong expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with IoT ecosystems (device connectivity, MQTT, edge computing).
• Deep experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end healthcare IoT solutions connecting devices to cloud platforms.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable, secure architectures.
• Lead solution definition from concept through production with rapid prototyping.
• Architect secure data pipelines for ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics.
• Ensure HIPAA/HITECH compliance and governance across all layers.
• Establish DevOps and DevSecOps practices across build, test, deploy and operate phases.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and GitOps workflows.
• Design for high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
