SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

INTEGRIM wishes to add to its team a “Software Quality Assurance Engineer” who will be responsible for developing and carrying out exploratory and automated testing campaigns to ensure the quality of its SenSaaS! – a cloud platform developed by INTEGRIM for its customers. Among other things, the quality assurance engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing tests based on product specifications, customer requests for changes to existing products, and product upgrades to higher versions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the VP Research and Development, and working closely with the development team, the Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for:

1. Review requirements, specifications, change requests and engineering design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
2. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and records.
3. Evaluate, prioritize, plan and coordinate test activities.
4. Identify, record, document in detail and track bugs.
5. Carry out thorough regression testing once bugs have been resolved.
6. Develop and implement testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needs.
7. Liaise with internal teams (software developers, information extraction team, business analysts…) to identify system requirements.
8. Monitor process results and report test campaign results.

REQUIREMENTS

The desired candidate possesses:

1. College diploma in computer technology or a combination of training and experience relevant to the position.
2. Proven professional experience in software quality assurance.
3. Solid knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools and processes.
4. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
5. Knowledge of document management systems, ERP systems and notions of accounting would be an advantage.
6. Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
7. Autonomous, organized, rigorous.
8. Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
9. Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
10. Demonstrates a keen interest in new technological developments.
11. Flexibility to adapt working hours according to deliverables.

Salary according to experience.

Full-time position Monday to Friday with a 37.5-hour work week with team scrum.

Remote or hybrid work available (downtown Montreal).
