Job Description
The Design Assurance Engineer will support our need for component and system obsolescence, upgrades and expansion of existing aircraft capabilities and new product development while meeting the certification standards for the various commercial programs.
As part of the Authorized Delegates group, the candidate will have the responsibility to ensure that compliance has been found against the applicable airworthiness standards within their individual authorization using accepted methods. They determine the level of investigation necessary, review data and reports and conduct any inspections, engineering assessments or witness any component, ground, or flight tests necessary to determine compliance with the applicable requirements and must ensure that compliance has been established and that the data is complete and accurate. They are also support continuing airworthiness and aircraft customizing activities.
