Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering.
• Experience in a managerial role overseeing teams and/or projects.
• Strong programming and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deliver software solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members for professional development, including regular one-on-one meetings and performance assessments.
• Contribute to the software engineering strategy and align technology with business goals.
• Lead agile development processes, including sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to ensure high-quality code and design.
• Monitor project progress and address issues that impact timelines.
• Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
